Indonesian Nokia today introduces the newest multimedia phone, the Nokia N97. This time, Nokia will launch it in a form of bundling package with three major operators.

Therefore, we are feel very optimistic that the segment is wide enough later,” said Trisnawan Tjipto, product marketing manager of Nokia Indonesia, in media briefings related to the N97 Launching in Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta, Monday, June 8, 2009.
Trisnawan said about 106 million total users indicates the huge potential market that favor the Nokia N97 multimedia functions. Not just Facebook, Nokia also integrate a number of social networking applications like MySpace, Friendster, Flickr, and the like. “We are targeting the segment that emphasizes elements of stylish and provide support that is relevant to their daily activities,” he said.
With the launching of Ovi Store at the same time, Nokia users will be pampered with dozens of contenst that will grow into hundreds as an additional service.
In fact, in the third quarter, Nokia will integrate VoIP technology into the N97. “Can be integrated by the Skype application, can also with manual settings via a local ISP, such as CBN,” said Trisnawan.
