Samsung Galaxy S users would be disappointed to know this news. Because Samsung says it will not provide the latest operating system upgrade Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) to the mobile phone.
The Samsung reasonable because the interface used Samsung, TouchWiz. RAM and memory storage capacity of the Galaxy S is not possible to run Ice Cream Sandwich especially if have to use the TouchWiz too.
Means by this, users Galaxy’s most “stuck” can only enjoy the Android version 2.3.6 aka Gingerbread.
Samsung a different treatment on each line of Android phones are going to make trouble. Moreover, Samsung Galaxy S is already sold 10 million units worldwide in 2010. Though Samsung has recently announced a series of cell phone instead of going to get the latest OS updates made by Google it.
Precisely the different treatment given to the Samsung Nexus Galaxy, Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note actually got the first opportunity to upgrade to the Ice Cream Sandwich.
If Samsung really apply different treatment in each cell, this means that there are weaknesses in the interface TouchWiz. Samsung only makes the interface can not add functionality. On the other hand, Samsung’s own TouchWiz also will not release in the Galaxy S.
